Craig Klopatek

SVP & CIO, CenterWell & Corporate Services, Humana

Craig Klopatek has over 25 years of healthcare and information technology experience and a passion for transforming healthcare delivery through innovation that changes lives, particularly where payors, providers and technology intersect. He is the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer for CenterWell & Corporate Services, with responsibility for technology delivery across Humana’s Primary Care, Home and Pharmacy segments. Additionally, he has responsibility for the delivery of technology across Humana’s corporate functions including HR, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk and enterprise platforms.

Prior to this, Craig served as EVP & CIO for Kindred at Home, which was a natural progression for from his role as VP Technology, Mergers and Acquisitions at Humana. Craig has also served as CTO/CIO for Conifer Health Solution’s Value-Based Care division and CIO for Concentra, previously a wholly-owned subsidiary of Humana.

Craig has led a variety of technology functions for payors, providers and tech firms, spending 12+ years with the Blues and additional time with multiple software companies creating and delivering product to the healthcare space.

He has an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Golden Gate University and a B.S. in Business Administration & Investments from the University of Southern California. He also received additional executive education at the CTO Institute of Technology Innovation at Stanford University and CIO Institute at UC Berkeley.
