Sean Narayanan
Chief Executive Officer, Emids
Sean has a career spanning over 25 years in digital, technology and management consulting services.
Most recently, Sean was CEO of digital experience company, Apexon, and exited after the sale of Apexon to Goldman Sachs-backed Infostretch in April 2022.
Prior to Apexon, Sean was Senior Executive Vice President and CEO of the €4.3 billion Business and Platform Solution (B&PS) division at Atos including Atos Syntel where he was Chairman. He led the acquisition of Syntel, a US-listed IT services company with $1 billion in revenue and major Indian operations.
Prior to Atos, Sean was the Chief Business Officer of digital customer engagement company, LiquidHub (now Capgemini), and Chairman and MD of LiquidHub India. He spent seven years at Nasdaq-listed iGate (now Capgemini). Sean was the Chief Delivery Officer and a member of the board of iGate Global Solutions, iGate China and iGate Mexico. He transformed iGate into an industry-leading business outcomes-based company with over $1 billion in revenue. Sean was instrumental in acquiring and integrated IT Services firm Patni.
Sean has also served as the Vice President at Cognizant and was part of the leadership team. At Cognizant, Sean founded both the ebusiness (now digital) and infrastructure businesses which were its fastest growing business and today contribute more than half of Cognizant’s revenues.
Sean moved to India in 2002 to work with Cognizant. Prior to Cognizant, Sean was with Booz Allen Hamilton leading technology strategies for both the federal and commercial sector.
